Manchester United midfielder reveals plans for long-term stay at Old Trafford

first_img1 Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera with captain Wayne Rooney Ander Herrera has revealed he plans to be at Manchester United for at least the next five years.The Spaniard moved to Old Trafford last summer for £28.85million, arriving from Spanish club Athletic Bilbao.The 25-year-old joined on a four-year deal, with the option of extending his stay for a further season.And, despite an mixed start to his time in Manchester, Herrera has admitted he plans to see out his stay at Old Trafford.“I am at Manchester United, the second richest club in the world, who are in a constant search for talent,” Herrera told Spanish newspaper El Pais.“And everything takes time because everyone will have their early difficult moments, but now I am playing again.“However, when I was not playing I kept reminding myself that I am here for the next five years and not just for a few months.”last_img read more
