Samsung launched the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J4 in May this year. The Galaxy J6 got renamed to Galaxy On6 for online sales and now the phone could get a plus variant soon. According to the ongoing reports, Samsung could launch a plus model of Galaxy J6 and call it the Galaxy J6+. It is expected to be a bigger and better variant of the J6.According to an XDA-developer report, the J6+ has been codenamed as j6plte which corresponds to J6-Plus LTE CIS SER. The CIS and SER mean that the device could first come to the markets of Commonwealth of the Independent States and Serbia.As per the report, the Galaxy J6+ will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset and run Android Oreo. To recall, the J6 runs on the Exynos 7870 Octa. The Plus model is expected to sport a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9. The RAM and internal storage of the phone are unknown but it is certain to have an expandable storage option via microSD card. The device will also have a bigger battery size of 4350mAh as opposed to 3000mAh in the J6.Reportedly, Samsung Galaxy J6+ will sport dual cameras at the back. A single selfie camera is expected on the front. There is no news on the price and availability of the phone. Other features that are expected on board are a Proximity sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, Hall Sensor, rear-placed Fingerprint sensor, FM Radio, Vibrator and NFC. The phone is available in two variants- 2GB and 3GB RAM with 16GB and 32GB internal storage respectively. The price of the base model is Rs 9,990 while the other model costs Rs 11,990.
