first_imgNext Match: Queen’s University 11/8/2019 | 8:00 p.m. Second-year outside hitter Evan Falardeau led all players with 16.5 points as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team defeated the Trent Excalibur 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-18) on Friday night (Nov. 1) in Peterborough, Ont.TORONTO STATS: Falardeau notched 15 kills, one ace and one assisted block, while also adding five digs in the win.Nicholas Trewern tallied eight points off of six kills and two aces, while rookie Jasper Neale had seven points off of six kills and one ace.Fourth-year setter Jordan Figueira tallied 32 assists, while libero Daniel Tudor recorded a game-high seven digs in the win.UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action next Friday, November 8 when they host the Queen’s Gaels in their 2019-20 home opener at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
